The Print Security Blind Spot

IT professionals are underestimating print security risk – we speak to cybersecurity experts about the threats that businesses face

More than one in ten of all security incidents that affect businesses involve a printer, 59 per cent of which result in data being lost. Importantly, the threat is no longer the preserve of large companies as hackers shift their focus to supply chains and smaller businesses which might be easier targets.

But according to our research, only a quarter of IT professionals are looking to invest in print security, while far more (46 per cent) are only concerned with cutting costs.
